
University Hills Eye Center was established in 1931 as Masten Optometric
Group. Dr. Crist has been seeing patients at the Colorado Boulevard location for the last 30 years. He has been in practice
since 1967, all but two of those years in south Denver. From 1971 to 1973, Dr. Crist was a captain in the U.S. Air Force,
serving as staff optometrist at Westover Regional Hospital in Massachusetts.
Dr. Crist has been active in both the Colorado Optometric Association
(COA) and the American Optometric Association (AOA). Additionally, Dr. Crist has received several high recognition’s,
including Colorado Optometrist of the Year, Colorado Optometric Association’s Distinguished Service Award and the American
Optometric Association Distinguished Service Award. Dr Crist is also a member of the DTC Rotary.

Dr. Leilani Phillips graduated with honors from Pacific University
College of Optometry in 2000. She's a Colorado native and graduated with honors from the University of Colorado with a degree
in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. Dr. Phillips is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is currently serving on
the board of trustees for the Colorado Optometric Association.
